Sailing for a healthy planet

If you have any questions or need other scheduled dates please ask. We are very flexible!

Cruises are weather dependent and will be rescheduled or fee refunded in case of adverse weather.  Guests must be physically able to move around a boat underway and handle lines with moderate strength. Maximum four guests for day sailing, three for live-aboard. Multi day programs can be scheduled on weekends for groups. Please contact us to make arrangements. 

Waiver must be signed by each guest for all trips before boarding.

Discover Sailing is a half day and Discover Cruising is a 6-8 hour adventure for individuals and families wanting to experience sailing on the bay. Discover nature’s wonders and your potential while experiencing the finest freshwater sailing in the world.

Start Keelboat Sailing, Basic & Intermediate Cruising programs develop sailing and cruising skills with options to explore the islands, fish, swim, snorkel and enjoy gourmet (sailor style) meals onboard while anchoring in secluded, sheltered coves. Live the cruising lifestyle with weekend or weeklong live-aboard, cruise and learn adventures, falling asleep with everlasting memories.

Maximum Guests: Four guests for day sailing, three for live-aboard.

Weather Rescheduling: We will be in touch with you days before your scheduled trip to offer a list of dates if the weather does not cooperate with us. 

Multi Day Courses: These can be scheduled over the weekend if you and your group prefer. Please contact us to make arrangements. 

Basic and Intermediate Coastal Navigation courses are offered during the winter in a class room format. Please check the website course calendar for dates or contact us with dates that best suit you and your group – two weekends or a series of weeknights.  We plan for a minimum of six students for a course.

Be prepared for your course!

You don’t have to bring anything for classroom courses, we will even provide lunch when the course is all day.

Basic items to bring sailing in a small soft duffle or back pack:

    • reusable water bottle, hat, sunglasses, sun protection cream
    • bathing suit, towel, shorts, sun shirt, soft sole shoes
    • cozy longs, sweater, sweat pants (quick dry is best), windbreaker jacket and wind pants
    • If bringing your own snacks or lunch, please use reusable containers, avoid single use plastic and minimize garbage – none is best.

For live-aboard courses add:

    • rain gear
    • toiletries
    • meds
    • flashlight
    • sleeping bag, sheet, pillow case
    • mask, fins, snorkel and fishing pole if you are into it. We have some anyway.
